Panasonic Corporation, formerly known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. ltd is a major Japanese multinational electronics company with headquarters in Kadoma, Osaka.

The staff consisted of 3 people, including Matsushita (23 years old), his wife Mumeno (22 years old), and Toshio Lue (15 years old, his brother in law). By the end of 1918, the had 20 employees.
The fixtures they made were initially sold via a single wholesale outlet. Later, Matsushita began dealing directly with other wholesalers, something that led to increased sales. The company found itself on a firm footing.
In February 1920, Matsushita designed the company’s trademark, which consisted of the letter M with an arrow and surrounded by a diamond. And although the economy worsened, the company continued to grow, and by the end of 1922, it had 50 employees.
